Setting up Contacts

To help organize contacts, you can customize Contact Categories, Custom Fields, and Statuses.

Adding Contacts

To add a contact, go to the left menu of the operator client and click Contacts > New. For more information about how operators can work with contacts, see the Operators Guide.

Setting up contact Category values

Create values that are presented to operators as options under Category on a contact form.

Fastpath: To create contact Category values, go to Setup > Account Setup > Contacts > Contact Categories.

Setting up contact Status values

Create values that are presented to operators as options under Status on a contact form.

Fastpath: To create contact Custom Status values, go to Setup > Account Setup > Contacts > Contact Statuses.

Setting up contact Custom Field values

Create values that are presented to operators as options under Custom 1 or Custom 2 on a contact form.

Fastpath: To create contact Custom Field values, go to Setup > Account Setup > Contacts > Contact Custom Fields 1 or 2.
